Market seasonTodayA bar is a market season, not a curve — the last Saturday of a season is as open as the middle of it, and a bar says nothing about how good the produce is that week. ✦ marks a market that is not a Produce Perks location. Hover a name for the day, the hours and the address. Seasons are republished each spring; check before you drive.

Twenty-five markets, one row each, with the weeks each is actually open. The line marks today.

A bar here is a season, not a curve. Every other chart on this site draws a natural process that ramps — a warbler arrives over a fortnight, a morel flush builds and goes over — and a triangle would be lying about a market. The Clintonville market is shut on 24 April, open on 25 April, and exactly as open on the last Saturday in November as it was in the middle of August. How good the tomatoes are that week is a different question, and it is the one Central Ohio U-Pick Seasons answers.

Where to go rather than when is Columbus Farmers Markets, which carries the map, the addresses and the ring-county markets this chart leaves out.

How to read the chart

Each row is a market and the bar is its 2026 season. There is no peak tick, because a market does not have one. Hover a name for the day, the hours and the address.

Two rows have two bars. Both are winter markets whose season runs straight through New Year — 1 November to 1 April is stored as the two arcs it really is, because the chart, the day arithmetic and the today line are all 1–365 and none of them wraps. The year boundary in the middle of the Worthington indoor bar is an artefact of how a chart is drawn, not a fortnight when the market shuts.

✦ marks a market that is not a Produce Perks location. Everything without the mark takes SNAP/EBT through the Ohio Direction card and matches it dollar for dollar on fresh produce. That is not a small detail: it is the difference between a market being a place to shop and a place to visit.

The chart scrolls sideways on a narrow screen.

Saturday markets

Nine, and they are not interchangeable. Clintonville opens three weeks before anything else and closes three weeks after it; Grove City is finished by mid-September. That spread is the whole value of this group.

Market Hours 2026 season Produce Perks
Clintonville Farmers' Market 9am – 12pm 25 Apr – 21 Nov Yes
Worthington Farmers' Market (outdoor) 8am – 12pm 2 May – 31 Oct Yes
German Village Farmers Market 9am – 1pm 2 May – 21 Nov ✦ No
Dublin Market at Bridge Park 9am – 12pm 2 May – 26 Sep ✦ No
Grove City Farmers Market 8am – 12pm 9 May – 12 Sep ✦ No
Westerville Farmers' Market 9am – 12pm 16 May – 26 Sep Yes
Powell Farmers Market 9am – 12pm 23 May – 3 Oct ✦ No
Canal Winchester Farmers Market 9am – 12pm 30 May – 26 Sep ✦ No
Westgate Farmers' Market 9am – 12pm 6 Jun – 17 Oct, first and third Saturdays Yes

Westgate is the only fortnightly market in the county, so its bar means half the Saturdays inside it. Two extra markets sit outside the bar entirely, on 16 May and 21 November.

Sunday markets

One row, because Columbus has one Sunday market with a published season.

Market Hours 2026 season Produce Perks
Grandview Heights Farmers' Market 9am – 12pm 3 May – 11 Oct ✦ No

Wild Ways Farm's Sunday pop-up at the Little Grand Market opens 5 July 2026 and its published end is "into fall", which is not a date. It is on the directory page, listed and unbarred, rather than here with a closing day this page made up.

Weekday afternoon and evening markets

The after-work group, and the one with the most turnover year to year. Three of these run less than ten weeks.

Market Day and hours 2026 season Produce Perks
Upper Arlington Farmers Market Wednesdays 3 – 6pm 13 May – 21 Oct Yes
Bexley Farmers' Market Thursdays 4 – 7pm 14 May – 22 Oct Yes
OhioHealth Farmers' Market Tuesdays 4 – 7pm 19 May – 20 Oct Yes
Hilliard Farm Market Tuesdays 4 – 7pm 19 May – 22 Sep Yes
Franklin Park Conservatory Farm Market Wednesdays 3:30 – 6:30pm 3 Jun – 16 Sep Yes
Healthy New Albany Farmers Market Thursdays 4 – 7pm 4 Jun – 27 Aug Yes
Prairie Township Farmers' Market Mondays 4 – 7pm 22 Jun – 17 Aug Yes
Market on Orange Tuesdays 4:30 – 7:30pm 30 Jun – 11 Aug ✦ No

Prairie Township is the only Monday market in the county and runs nine weeks. Market on Orange runs seven, which is the shortest season on any chart here.

Weekday daytime markets

Lunch hours and the all-year rows. Two of these are not markets in the sense the rest of the chart means, and both are here because they are what somebody in Franklinton or on Parsons Avenue can actually use in February.

Market Day and hours 2026 season Produce Perks
Franklinton Farms Order Mon – Thu, collect Fri after 4pm All year Yes
Local Matters Veggie Van Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, published route 23 Jan – 18 Dec Yes
Pearl Market Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am – 2pm May – Oct ✦ No
Moser's Farm Market Wed – Fri 10am – 6pm; Sat 9am – 2pm; Sun 12 – 4pm Jun – Nov ✦ No
Columbus Public Health Farmers' Market Three or four dates; times at columbus.gov/wic 1 Jul – 30 Sep Yes

Two bars in this group have approximate edges and say so. Pearl Market and Moser's publish months rather than dates, so their bars are drawn to the ends of those months. The Columbus Public Health row is the one bar on the chart that is a window rather than a season: Public Health runs three or four markets somewhere inside that quarter and sets the dates late, and "sometime in this quarter" is genuinely all the state directory commits to.

Winter markets

This is why the chart is not just a summer calendar. Look at the second week of January: every outdoor market in the county is dark, and two rows are lit.

Market Day and hours Season Produce Perks
Worthington Farmers' Market (indoor) Saturdays 9am – 12pm 1 Nov 2025 – 1 Apr 2026 Yes
Healthy New Albany Winter Market First Saturday of the month 9am – 12pm 1 Nov 2025 – 28 Mar 2026 Yes

Worthington does not close for the winter. It moves half a mile up High Street into the Shops at Worthington Place and carries on every Saturday morning, which makes "is there a farmers market in January" a question with a yes attached to it in this city. New Albany's winter market is monthly, at a different address from its summer market two miles away — five Saturdays across the whole winter, the sparsest bar on the chart, and still more than most of the county manages.

The Veggie Van also runs from the third week of January, and Franklinton Farms takes orders every week of the year.

Where the dates come from

Season dates, days, hours and Produce Perks status are transcribed from the State of Ohio's 2026 Farmers' Market Directory — the county-by-county list of Ohio markets accepting the Ohio Direction card, last revised April 2026. It is the only source consulted that prints an exact opening and closing date per market rather than a month, which is the one thing a chart of windows cannot approximate.

Markets that take no EBT are not in that directory and are not thereby absent from Columbus. Those rows — German Village, Pearl Market, Dublin, Grandview Heights, Grove City, Canal Winchester, Powell, Market on Orange, Moser's — come from Experience Columbus, the city's convention and visitors bureau.

Where the two disagree the state filing wins and the row says so. There are two disagreements: Upper Arlington closes at 6pm in the state filing and 6:30 at Experience Columbus, and Canal Winchester is given two different High Street addresses.

Seasons are republished every spring and move by a week or so. Check before you drive.
