What is pickable this weekend is Central Ohio U-Pick Seasons, which draws thirty-one crops as windows against the year with a line on today. This page is the other half: who has it, and where.
Before you drive
Ring the farm the morning you go. This is not boilerplate. A u-pick field that was open on Saturday can be picked out by Sunday, and about a third of the farms below are appointment-only or post their hours on Facebook the night before. Nothing on this page is a promise that a gate will be open.
2026 has no u-pick cane fruit at the two big Licking County operations. Lynd Fruit Farm and the Patch on 37 both lost the raspberry and blackberry crop to extreme winter and spring cold and have closed cane picking for the season. Lynd will sell picked berries at the market instead, and its Asian pear day is in doubt for the same reason.

Licking County — the orchards
The densest concentration of u-pick in reach of Columbus, and where the apples are.

Lynd is the one to know. It is the largest u-pick operation in the region, apples open on Thursdays and run while they last, and the orchard block that is open changes day to day — check the farm's Facebook or newsletter before setting off, because the address on this page is the farm, not necessarily the field.
Knox County — the blueberry belt
Small farms, several of them honour-system, and more blueberries than anywhere else in reach.

Pleasantview Produce at 7201 Tucker Road, Centerburg — formerly Granny B Farms, certified organic, asparagus and currants and autumn raspberries — is not listed above and not pinned, because its status for 2026 is unknown. It has no current web presence and the last published phone number may no longer be correct. It is named here rather than dropped, because a reader local to Centerburg may know better than this page does.

Mitchell's Berries is the only farm in the region growing four colours of raspberry — black, purple, gold and red — in one field, and it is the best answer to the 2026 cane failure further east.

Hocking Hills Orchard is the strangest and best of these — 1,700 heirloom and unusual apple varieties, 125 pears and a hundred grapes, run as much as a living-history collection as an orchard. Cash only, weekends only, and a six-week window.

Beyond the ring but close enough to be worth the drive for one crop.

If you only go once
- With small children — a blueberry farm in July. Shoulder-height bushes, no thorns, nothing to fall off. Blue Sky at Marysville or Willoughby Grove at Mount Vernon.
- For the freezer — peaches at Branstool in August, because twenty varieties ripening in sequence means you can go twice and come back with different fruit.
- For the photographs — Hocking Hills Orchard in September, or a sunflower field in the four days it is standing.
- For the day out rather than the crop — Leeds Farm or Pigeon Roost in October, where the field is the smaller half of the trip.
What will not pin
Twenty of the thirty-three rows above are not on the map. OpenStreetMap carries no house-number record and no named feature for most rural central Ohio farm addresses — for several of these farms it has nothing in Ohio under the name at all. The alternative is dropping a pin on the road centroid, which puts a marker somewhere the farm is not and looks exactly as authoritative as a real one, so it is not done here.
