Zoom lens, fast short-length primes, audio kit (ADSR, XLR), sound blankets, walkie talkies, a drone, and something to move on — four-wheeler, horse, or bikes. Two open questions the kit list has not answered: which lights do not disturb animals at night, and which colour charts are needed to correct images shot under coloured light.
Individual package
Camera, zoom lens, camcorders.
Travel pack
Rain jacket, winter clothing, hatchet, knife, water straw, biodegradable floating soap, iodine tablets, hand pump, flint and steel, first aid, and a data chip for connectivity.
Base camp
Tent, folding chairs, folding table.
Subject pool
Appalachian Trail, hellbenders, mudding for catfish, cryptids, and competition fishing and trapping — the last doubles as an audience meetup opportunity.
