1. Log in to WordPress.com and navigate to your dashboard.

2. Go to Upgrades → Domains (or Hosting → Domains in WP Admin) to view your domains.

3. Click on the domain you wish to transfer.

4. Click the Transfer button and select Transfer to another registrar.

• Disable the “Transfer lock” and click Get authorization code. This code (also called the EPP or auth code) will be emailed to the address on file with the domain.

• At your new registrar, begin the domain transfer process and provide the authorization code when prompted.

• Confirm the transfer via email if required. The process typically takes 5–7 days to complete.

Notes:

• Your domain must be at least 60 days old before it can be transferred.

• Do not cancel or delete your domain during the process.

• You can update DNS or nameservers before transfer if you want the domain to start working with the new provider immediately.
